Zara, you recently went to Colombia, could you tell us a little bit about your motive to go there & how you found it?

I was there to study but I got to do a whole lot of other stuff especially travelling.

I had dreamt about going for a long time, it’s a seriously exciting place, its history is difficult and fascinating and some of my favourite music comes from there.

And the dancing is something else!

Where is your favourite place in the world & why?

It depends but the last place I felt true bliss was asleep on the beach by the Black Sea in Georgia a few weeks ago.

What are your party essentials?

Good music, a good hat, hoops, rum.

We first met at Secret Garden Party through our mutual friend Calum. Which other festivals do you frequent?

I went to an amazing one in Cali, Colombia called Petronio Álvarez which is mostly music from Colombia’s Pacific coast and a lot of salsa. It was unreal!
